Weather, pollution and ground conditions can
interfere substantially with achieving the best results, so, it is
very important to plan your aerial photography. Green grass & blue
skies can create 'colourful' aerial photography but only, if there
is no haze, cloud shadows or pollution.
A few clouds in the sky can cast dark shadows
on the ground.
We also have to plan the 'time' of day.
If you want ‘vertical photography’ it is important to fly when the
sun is ‘exactly’ overhead to minimize shadows.
If you are interested in ‘oblique
photography’ we must arrive at the site at the right time of day –
so that the sun is shining on the front of the subject. Sites facing
north can be difficult – except possibly in June when the sun angles
are high and long. We can, of course, fly your sites quickly, but if
you require the best results, please plan so that we can work with
Mother Nature’s schedule.
In the Toronto area, we must coordinate
our flights with Air Traffic Control and work around their high traffic periods.
